“Goodwill Industries’ Dallas facility was a shining beacon during the perfect storm of launching our company.”
-- Donna Hartley, President, Rug Anchor, Inc.

To bring liquid Rug Anchor™ to the market, our challenges were daunting. To clear our highest hurdles, we were about to borrow millions of dollars to build a bottling plant and warehouse with expensive equipment, fixtures, and furnishings. We‘d also come face-to-face with the myriad realities of hiring, training, and ensuring a labor force that would be capable of handling and bottling our chemically sophisticated product, from intake through order fulfillment.

Then we decided to call Goodwill Industries of Dallas. We knew little about them, other than that they helped our local community by employing people with disabilities.

When we arrived to meet their representatives, the mutual excitement was electric! We toured what is truly a state-of-the-art facility. We saw that they already had much of the equipment we needed. We realized that Goodwill had access to limitless labor, a workforce that was both qualified and well-supervised. We clearly recognized that this noble agency could change everything for Rug Anchor – and change it for the better!

Today, we are delighted to say that Goodwill is handling all of our production and fulfillment – with care and expertise. Thanks to Goodwill, Rug Anchor has already progressed well beyond the point at which we would have found ourselves had we gone the route we’d originally planned, and best of all, without incurring staggering debt!

We are grateful to Goodwill Industries, and we are certain that Rug Anchor and Goodwill will be partners and friends for many years to come.
