Volunteer Opportunities

SORTING DONATIONS

Grade Textiles and Hard Goods: Sort good quality donations and prepare them for the stores. Help us sort, process those donations, and get them ready for sale! This activity takes place outside the warehouse for volunteers under 16.

SORTING REGISTRATION

UNLOAD DONATION TRUCKS

Each year, Goodwill Industries of Dallas receives over 40 million pounds of generous donations from our community. Help us unload, arrange and organize items for sorting. Volunteers must be 16 years or older and comfortable lifting a minimum of 15 pounds to participate.

Unfortunately, we are not offering court order community service hours.  

We do not offer volunteer opportunities at our retail store locations, but you can volunteer at our headquarters (3020 N. Westmoreland Rd. Dallas, TX 75212).  

We can accommodate as many as 50 volunteers in one shift. 

A t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt, comfortable long pants, and closed-toe shoes.
